Learn how Fortify Pro™ chemical concrete densifier works at a molecular level to eliminate concrete dusting and maximize structural durability.

Introduction

For industrial warehouses, commercial facilities, and high-traffic manufacturing zones, surface durability is non-negotiable. Constant heavy machinery loads and forklift traffic wear down raw concrete, leading to a weak, powdery floor.

To solve this, Surface IQ developed Fortify Pro™—an industrial-grade lithium-silicate chemical densifier and hardener designed to transform weak concrete into a high-density, stone-solid asset.

The Molecular Science of Densification

Unlike topical coatings that simply sit on the surface, Fortify Pro™ penetrates deep into the concrete’s upper matrix to fix structural weaknesses from within.

When applied, the active lithium-silicate elements trigger a chemical reaction with the free lime (calcium hydroxide) naturally present in the concrete. This reaction creates a mineral structure called Calcium Silicate Hydrate (CSH) gel. This gel expands into the concrete’s open microscopic pores, curing into a dense, solid crystalline structure that locks the aggregate together.

Key Operational Benefits

  • Permanent Dust Elimination: By binding the loose calcium molecules together, Fortify Pro™ completely stops concrete “dusting”—the irritating chalky powder that ruins inventory and equipment.
  • Massive Impact & Wear Resistance: It increases the surface density, making it highly resistant to tire marks, heavy drops, and scratching from non-stop forklift traffic.
  • Easy Maintenance: The hardened surface repels dirt and debris, making floors incredibly easy to sweep, scrub, and keep clean.
